I attended the Student night performance for Die Fledermaus and was overwhelmed with joy at being surrounded by young people who laughed heartily and frequently. The show was cleverly staged and the set & costumes were fabulous. The story line was amusing and the delivery from all on stage was perfectly timed. This is a great first opera for any kid who is allowed to watch modern television. PG rating.
