It’s late 19th century Vienna, the home of Gabriel Von Eisenstein, a wealthy man about town, who loves a good practical joke, even if it humiliates a friend. But what happens when that friend hatches an elaborate scheme to teach the womanizing Von Eisenstein a lesson he won’t soon forget? The answer is revealed in the grandest masked ball of the season, where the champagne flows freely and identity is obscured!
This was my favorite of the 2012-21013 (although Marriage of Figaro nearly tied for my favorite!). Wonderfully cast. Wonderful to listen to and see! This show would make any and everyone love opera. Bravi!

I attended the final Norfolk performance of Die Fledermaus on Sunday, November 18th. This is a jubilant performance! I wish I had attended an earlier performance so I could go again and bring others with me. The singers, sets, costumes, everything was just lovely! A true celebration of life!
I loved it! Great execution, set, and music, but the cast you chose did not reflect the characters in my opinion. Still, great performance guys!
