The Virginia Opera Foundation
The Virginia Opera Foundation was established to permanently endow the programs of the Virginia Opera. At any time of the year, gifts may be made to the Foundation in the form of cash, securities, or real estate. Many gifts are made in the form of Tribute or Memorial Gifts. To participate in establishing the future financial security of the Opera, please become a member of this special group of contributors. Contributions to the Virginia Opera Foundation are permanently restricted. Therefore, all contributions designated as gifts to the Foundation will remain in the Foundation in perpetuity. Only earnings from the principal are used annually to support the operating budget.
